What is a Master Service Agreement (MSA)?

MSAs are often used to establish a long-term business relationship between a service provider and a client.

A Master Service Agreement (MSA) is a type of contract that sets out the terms and conditions under which a company (the "service provider") will provide services to another company (the "client"). MSAs are typically used when a service provider will be providing a wide range of services to a client over an extended period of time.

An MSA is typically a broad, high-level contract that outlines the general terms and conditions under which the service provider will provide services to the client. It often includes provisions related to the scope of the services to be provided, the terms of payment, and any warranties or guarantees offered by the service provider.

MSAs are commonly used in a variety of industries, including information technology, consulting, and professional services. They are often used to establish a long-term business relationship between a service provider and a client, and to provide a framework for the negotiation of individual service agreements or contracts for specific projects or tasks.
