What is an RFI/RFP?

AN RFP is a document that is used to solicit proposals from potential suppliers or service providers.

A Request for Information (RFI) is a document that is used to gather information about a particular product, service, or project from a number of potential suppliers or service providers. RFIs are commonly used in the procurement process, and are typically used to identify vendors who may be able to provide the products or services that an organization needs.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is a document that is used to solicit proposals from potential suppliers or service providers. RFPs typically include a detailed description of the products or services that an organization is seeking, as well as the criteria that will be used to evaluate the proposals.

Both RFIs and RFPs are commonly used in a variety of industries, and are an important part of the procurement process. They allow organizations to gather information and proposals from multiple vendors, and to compare the different options in order to make an informed decision about which supplier or service provider to work with.
